CDA Islamabad to auction 56 Commercial Plots lying in different Sectors.

In order to over come the financial crisis and to speed up the development process, CDA Islamabad has decided to auction 56 commercial plots lying in different Sectors.

Under the chair of Chairman CDA Nadeem Hasan Asif during a meeting of CDA board, approval is granted to sell out 56 commercial plots through open auction. It is happening for the first time in the history of Islamabad that so many commercial plots are being sold in one row.

Chairman CDA is supervising this whole process himself instead of rely blindly upon member estate management. He had made a visits of the said plots.

Enforcement Directorate CDA has lifted the material from demolishing wall on the land adjacent to Laal Mosque. The wall was constructed by Administration of Laal Mosque during the Eid Holidays.

Enforcement Staff has also demolished the encroachments from Commercial Plots which CDA intend to sell out. After having bitter experience failure in sale of plots in Sector E-12, now CDA Chairman has visited those plots which CDA is going to sell out in coming days.

CDA has announced that it will auction commercial plots of sectors G-8, G-9, G-10, G-11, F-6, F-7, I-8 & I-11  and plots of Class-3 shopping plots. This auction process will take place in November 2013.

During a meeting held at CDA head office, Board Members intimated Chairman CDA that provision of necessary facilities has already been made in these plots.

Protest by allottees of I-11 sector Islamabad over issue of non-possession of their plots during last 22 years.

Allottees of I-11 sector Islamabad made a protest over issue of non-possession of their plots despite passage of some 22 years.

Almost twenty two (22) years have passed but possession of residential plots in Residential sector could not be materialised by CDA. Allottees have already paid their due payments much long ago. Allottees of this sector staged a protest to get attention of Administration of Capital Development Authority for not providing possession and no development in Sector I-11.

According to Statement of allottees, the project was to be completed till June, but only 40% work is completed. They have shown their displeasure over stop of work. They stressed upon Chairman CDA to finish the development process as early as possible.

Government of Pakistan has planned a mega project worth $12 Billion " new twin capital city" near Islamabad termed as "Dream Project". Under this dream project, commercial multi-storey buildings will be constructed like Dubai near Margalla Hills.

CDA is working on this project day and night. A new airport will be constructed near Rawat, Islamabad. Plan will be composed of 25000 acres. 8 to 10 lanes road will connect it with Motorway from Rawat. There will be a tunnel between old and new Islamabad.

As soon as the plan is finalized, Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will announce it. PM has directed Chairman CDA to work on this project on war footing base so that it may be started as soon as possible.
